About Us
Learning Happens Home Child Care Agency is a private organization licensed through the Ministry of Education. We focus on providing responsive care that promotes the health, safety and well-being of children. To us, children are ‘competent, capable, curious and rich in potential.’ We value children’s curiosity and sense of exploration and play, to enhance their ability to self-regulate. We believe children come with lived experience and knowledge. Our educators recognize and provide an individualized program and support for each child as they learn at their own pace.
Learning Happens Home Child Care Agency’s Providers are independent contractors who are monitored by the agency to provide quality programs for families in their homes. Our Home Visitors/Consultants collaborate with Home Child Care Providers and families to help support the children with their ongoing needs and development. Our program statement reflects the Ministry of Education’s statement on programming and policy (O.Reg. 137/15 ss 46-1-4) as well as Learning Happens Home Child Care Agency’s Policies and Procedures.
